After my husband died, I couldn’t go anywhere without mentioning him.

I didn’t even realize I was doing it.
But every conversation circled back to the loss.

It wasn’t for sympathy.
It was survival.

I was trying to stay connected to the person who built a life with me.
And now that life we knew together… was gone.

Eventually, I fell in love again.
And when it got real, he ended it.

When Heartbreak Became Healing

I was devastated.
But that heartbreak cracked something open in me.
It became the moment I started to heal —
and eventually became a certified sex, love, and relationship coach.

I’ll never forget when my daughters, with their knowing smiles, said:
“Now the doctor’s going to have to hear about your dead husband and your ex-boyfriend.”

They weren’t mocking me.
They were loving me.
They’ve always seen my depth 
and never once asked me to be less.

I Stopped Apologizing for My Depth

That moment helped me love and accept myself more than ever.
I stopped apologizing for the way I love.
I started honoring the wisdom my pain gave me.

Why I Teach Love From Lived Experience

We don’t become healers because life is easy.
We become them
because love broke us open…
and we let it remake us.

I don’t teach love from a polished stage.
I teach it from a life lived deeply.
Grieved fully.
Loved bravely.
Healed honestly.

I open my heart again.
